Carb in our Life

The food should contain useful mineral elements, vitamins and the right amount of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. But nutritionists have proven that not all carbohydrates are good for humans. In addition, scientists found a direct link between obesity and excessive consumption of carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates play an important role in your food. They are present in bakery products, rice, beans, dairy products, vegetables and even in food of animal origin. There are three main types of carbohydrates: sugar, starches and cellulose. All they come to our diet with food. Carbohydrates consist of sugar molecules. Chain of these molecules can be straight and branched. Cellulose and starch are composed of several chains. Some chains contain thousands of sugars. Carbohydrates are divided often into simple (it’s sugar such as fructose, dextrose, glucose and sucrose) and complex (consisting of three or more linked sugars). Some people think that a diet of simple carbohydrates harmful, but a diet of the complex carbohydrates is useful. But you should think about this. All carbohydrates are broken down in the organism to single molecules of sugar - glucose - to more easily absorb into the bloodstream. Sugar is in the form of glucose in the blood. Glucose is the main source of energy for the body.
Insulin (a hormone produced by the pancreas) transports glucose from the blood into cells. If the level of sugar in the blood increases faster, the more insulin must be produced in the body. Insulin clears the blood of glucose. Then insulin transports glucose into cells, where it is used. Excessive amount of glucose deposits in the cells as fat. Therefore, you should think about the food you eat.
Increased blood glucose and insulin add energy in the body (it means high blood sugar). But the level of blood sugar falls inevitably over time. And the exhaustion and a desire to compensate for the deficiency come as resulting of it. This situation causes a person to add something to the diet, even if he is not hungry.
When you think about the healthy low carb diet you should not forget about carbohydrates. Carbohydrates help the body. They make to use better fats. But a certain amount of carbohydrates is converted into fat, when you have little power consumption. And you must understand you need to reduce the rate of consumption of carbohydrates to reduce the caloric content of your diet. So the next question, which we will discuss, will affect food production.
